In 1994 I joined
Leyland Photographic Society after taking very early retirement due to
ill health {epilepsy}. I found the members to be warm and friendly, always
willing to help and advise new members. I was pleased to have found a
hobby which was enjoyable and challenging.
Over the last ten years I have learnt a great deal and in 2005 gained my first photographic honour in photography a Licentiateship with the Disabled Photographic Society. I hope that with a few careful alterations to my work I shall be able to improve enough to finally gain a Licentiateship with the Royal Photographic Society next year.
